Carl Sandburg was a Pulitzer-prize winning poet, author, folksinger, lecturer and Abraham Lincoln biographer.
Carl Sandburg's Home, also refered to as Connemara, consists of the circa 1838 antebellum house, the 1900's dairy goat barn complex, rolling pastures, sheds, mountainside woods, walking/hiking trails, ponds, flower and vegetable gardens, two small lakes, and an orchard.
